Overview
I have enjoyed this training, but admitt that it would have been better if i had kept up with the technology from 2.0. With 2.1 I have spent a lot more time just exploring different sites, tools and options. I would find myself going from one site to the next because i would find something interesting. I am going to try to keep this new blog going and revisit 2.1 to keep on top of the skills acquired.
Week 24 The Darkside
Malware, Worms, Trojans Etc
I am really quite carefull with any applications. In Emails if i don't know of the sender then I usually don't open and Emails. I have come across malware, where anoying pop ups occur, but have not experienced worse.

Week 23
Mash ups
I have been exploring all sorts of different mash ups. Soooo many ideas and fun things to do. Below is a picture of a games corner we have but i was able to distort the photo. I also found a way to play a visual memory game from the photos in Flikr. Could have played all day.

Instant Communication
I have just explored instant communication tools. I think that IM could be used in the library system for quick Q&A's. Also to advise of upcoming events and general what's on.
RSS
I set up a Google Alert with the key words of Learning 2.0 and Library Learning. I now have lots of information coming to my Gmail account which is very specific to this training. I have received lots of great tips and pointers. Very, Very handy.
